This tool helps you craft detailed story prompts for generative AI models like Gemini. The more detail you provide, the better your story will be.
1. Add Your API Key
Enter your Google Gemini API key in the first section. This is required to use the AI-powered features like "Refine Prompt" and "Generate Backstory".
2. Build Your Prompt
Fill out the sections to build your story's foundation. You don't have to fill everything, but more detail helps:
- Genre & Tone: Select a main genre to populate relevant author styles and subgenres. Choose tones that match the mood you're aiming for.
- Characters: Add characters and fill in their details. The "Generate Backstory" button can create a rich history for them using AI.
- Themes & Concepts: Add key themes like "betrayal" or "redemption" by typing them and pressing Enter.
- Narrative & Style: Define the setting, desired story length, and narrative style. You can even blend the voices of famous authors.
- Output Format: Choose what you want the AI to generate, from a simple title to a full story or chapter breakdown.
3. Live Preview
As you fill out the form, the "Live Prompt Preview" on the right updates in real-time. This is the exact text that will be sent to the AI.
4. Generate, Refine, and Use
- Generate Prompt: Click this if the preview isn't updating automatically.
- Refine Prompt: Use the ✨ button to have the AI analyze and improve your prompt for better clarity and impact.
- Copy / Download: Once you're happy with the prompt, copy it to your clipboard or download it as a text file to use in your preferred AI tool.
